South of The River Band

Tarah Marie is 21 years old, from Mason County, WV and is the newest member of the band. Tarah has been performing since the age of 5 and brings her strong vocals, enthusiasm, and love for music to the band. Tarah has won numerous vocal competitions and was the 2008 Colgate Country Showdown West Virginia State Winner. Tarah has written several songs and has opened for Jake Owen, Ken Mellons, and Joe Nichols. She not only enjoys singing and performing but loves to fish and ride 4-wheelers.

Music interests are:
Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire, Trisha Yearwood, and Blue Grass

Favorite Movies and TV Shows are:
Con Air, Face Off, The Notebook, The Karate Kid, Family Guy, Food Network, Survivor, and American Idol.
